About Tantum AG
Tantum AG is a regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licensed and supervised by the Financial Market Authority of Liechtenstein (FMA). Tantum is the only EMI to have received an EMI licence in Liechtenstein in the past five years.
Tantum operates across the European Economic Area under the EEA passporting regime, providing e-money and payment services to businesses. Our registered office is at Landstrasse 114, FL-9495 Triesen, Liechtenstein. As a regulated EMI, Tantum is subject to the Liechtenstein E-Money Act (E-Geldgesetz, EGG), the Payment Services Act (Zahlungsdienstegesetz, ZDG), and associated FMA supervision.
Tantum AG is not a bank and does not provide banking services. Tantum does not accept deposits, extend credit, or pay interest. All accounts are e-money accounts used solely for payment services under the E-Money Directive (2009/110/EC). Client funds are safeguarded in accordance with applicable legal requirements and are not covered by deposit guarantee schemes.
